Mother Nature forces postponement of weekend softball games, track meet

Jack Nowlin It was only a matter of time. A spring sports season that stayed on schedule throughout March and most of April came to a halt Friday in Casper. A slow but steady rainstorm that began Thursday night and continued through Friday morning caused Kelly Walsh officials to reschedule Saturday’s Trojan Invite track meet for Monday and forced the Kelly Walsh and Natrona County softball teams to postpone weekend home games against Cody and Worland. NC did play Cody on Thursday, losing 12-2, but will have to reschedule its game against Worland. KW will have to make up games...
