Savannah State Qualifies For SIAC Championships

SAVANNAH, Ga.- After missing the SIAC Softball Championships last season, Savannah State have qualified for the 2024 tournament. The Lady Tigers had a 9-15 conference record during the regular season and edged out Clark Atlanta and Benedict for the final spot in the SIAC East who both had 7-17 SIAC records. Savannah State (14-27) will be the fourth seed coming out of the SIAC East. As a team, SSU has a .281 batting average to go along with their 5.84 earned run average on the mound.
