Shockers Fall in Series Opener

WICHITA, Kan. -- Tulane scored four runs in the top of the first and never looked back, downing Wichita State 13-8 on Friday night at Eck Stadium. The Green Wave (23-19, 8-8) used a leadoff walk and four singles to do their damage in the first against WSU starter Tyler Dobbs (5-4), putting the Shockers in an early 4-0 hole.
