Softball Loses Twice To Cavaliers On The Road

In the next-to-last regular-season day of the 2024 season, Ashland University's softball team lost twice at Walsh on Friday (April 26), 3-1 and 4-2. The Eagles are 18-25 overall and 11-13 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference with two more regular-season games to play, and the Cavaliers are 19-27, 11-11. A scoreless tie in Game 1 was broken in the top of the fourth inning, as junior pinch-hitter Cassidy Shaffer delivered a two-out RBI single.
