Strong Doubles Play Leads Women’s Tennis Past Juniata, 7-2

HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The University of Scranton women’s tennis team (9-7, 7-2 Landmark) won all three doubles matches and picked up a 7-2 victory over the Juniata Eagles (4-10, 2-7 Landmark) in conference action on Friday at Raffensberger Tennis Courts in Huntingdon. The No. 1 duo of graduate student Lily Nowak (Freeland, Pa./Hazleton Area)/freshman Gisele Falzone (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./Scranton Prep) notched an 8-3 victory, while junior Daniella Wisniewski (Bedminster, N.J./Bernards)/freshman Kyleigh McNulty (Bay Shore, N.Y./St. Anthony’s) added an 8-1 win at No. 2 doubles.
