Tennis Advances to Second Round of GLIAC Tournament With 4-0 Win Over Lake Superior State

MIDLAND, MICH. – The Saginaw Valley State University tennis team defeated fifth-seeded Lake Superior State 4-0 to advance to the second round of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) tournament on Friday afternoon. Adriana Barrio and Tara Erler earned a 6-0 win at No. 1 doubles while Johanna Michahelles and Lydia Liong won 6-2 in No. 3 doubles to clinch the 1-0 lead early in the match.
