STORRS, CT – UConn takes game one in Storrs, Connecticut over Villanova, 8-2. The bats started off hot for the Huskies as the team hit a two-run homer in the first. They started a trend for UConn as they added six more runs in the first three frames. After the third the scoring went silent. The 8-0 deficit for Villanova changed in the ninth when a single by Jack O'Reilly scored AJ Hansen to put Villanova on the board.
