Widener Men’s Track and Field Grabs Third Place in Pre-Championship Poll

NEWTOWN, Pa. – Widener men’s track and field claimed third place in the 2024 MAC Pre-Championship Coaches’ Poll. The 2024 MAC Outdoor Championships will be hosted at Widener from Thursday, May 2 to Saturday, May 4. The top five teams, from first to fifth, were Lebanon Valley, Stevens, Widener, Messiah, and DeSales. Lebanon Valley grabbed the top spot with 222 points (13 first-place votes). Stevens had 194 points, while Widener had 189 points with the remaining three first-place votes. Messiah had 184 points, and DeSales picked up 174.
