Abbey, Harrison win titles as Mammoths place second at NESCAC Championships

SOMERVILLE, Mass. – Sophomore Jordan Harrison and first-year Michael Abbey Jr. won NESCAC titles as the Amherst College men’s track and field team finished second at the NESCAC Track and Field Championships on Saturday at Tufts University. The Mammoths tallied 151.5 points to match their best-ever finish at the conference championship. Host Tufts won its third straight title with 173.5 points. Amherst posted 13 All-NESCAC performances, awarded to the top three finishers in each event, and senior Alton Machen broke the Amherst record in the 110m hurdles.
