Arizona Drops Game Two at Washington, 4-3
SEATTLE, Wash. — The No. 16 Arizona Wildcats (26-15, 14-6) dropped game two to the Washington Huskies (15-20-1, 7-13) on a final score of 4-3 on Saturday afternoon in Seattle. Starting pitcher Clark Candiotti was strong, but got tagged with the loss after allowing four runs (just two earned) across five innings of work. The right-hander struck out six along the way. The Wildcats bullpen was spectacular, allowing the Arizona hitters to stay alive in the late innings.
