Blue Track & Field Takes Seventh at NEWMACs; Sweeps All-Conference Honors in Steeplechase

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Sophomores Ella Whinney (Madison, Wis.) and Simone Beauchamp (Aurora, Colo.) swept All-Conference honors in the 3000m Steeplechase as the Wellesley College track & field team took seventh place in the team standings at the 2024 NEWMAC Track & Field Championships on Saturday at Springfield College’s Blake Track. MIT claimed the NEWMAC team championships with 260 points.
