Cartwright Shines at Drake Relays; Mavericks Repeat as Relay Cup Winners
DES MOINES, Iowa --- Minnesota State senior hurdler Denisha Cartwright narrowly missed the Olympic qualifying mark in the 100-meter hurdles as she turned in a time of 12.71 Saturday afternoon at the Drake Relays. Cartwright's time was well under the Olympic standard of 12.77, however the wind rating was .01 too high. To meet the mark, the wind must be rated at a 2.0 or lower.
