NORTH CANTON, OH : The first G-MAC Quarterfinal contest on Larry Staudt Field was a thrilling one. Earning the #4 seed, Walsh hosted their first quarterfinal game in program history, against the #5 seed Wheeling University Cardinals. Previously defeating the Cardinals on March 16th, the visiting team came out for revenge, outscoring the Cavs, 5-1. Slowly, the Maroon and Gold chipped away, cutting the deficit in half, down 6-3.
