MONMOUTH, Ore. --- The Western Oregon softball team got a three-hit shutout from senior Mackenzee Collins in game one to beat 13th-ranked Western Washington 2-0 before dropping game two 7-0 Saturday at WOU Softball Field. On Senior Day, Collins put together her second shutout of the season for WOU (21-24 overall, 9-13 GNAC) as she didn't allow a Viking (37-7, 17-5) hit until the fourth inning and a runner to reach second base until the seventh to pick up her ninth win of the season and lower her ERA to 1.87.
