Eagles Find Speed at Lake Wheeler Invitational

RALEIGH, N.C.-- Eighteen crews enjoyed sunny skies and warm temperatures on Friday and Saturday for two days of racing at the Lake Wheeler Invitational. The first day of racing featured competition throughout the morning and afternoon on Lake Wheeler. The boats raced for a third and final time Saturday morning. The Eagles best finish on Friday was fourth by the varsity eight in the morning session of racing. The Boston College boat crossed in a time of 6:59.410, behind Miami, Alabama, and Duke, and ahead of Tulsa and Kansas. Racing in the V8+ for BC was coxswain Madelyn Stevens ,...
