Final doubleheader with UCCS canceled; softball season comes to a close
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Due to inclement weather and unsafe field conditions, the Fort Lewis College and University of Colorado Colorado Springs softball teams have agreed to cancel the final two games of their four-game series and end their respective 2024 campaigns. The Skyhawks close out the year with a 17-30 overall record and a 15-23 mark in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play under first-year head coach Paige Adair. Fort Lewis, after being voted to finish ninth in the RMAC Preseason Coaches Poll, finished the year seventh in the league's standings and just one spot shy of the RMAC Tournament....
