Furman’s Pline Signs With San Francisco 49ers

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Furman All-Southern Conference tight end Mason Pline has signed a free agent contract with the San Francisco 49ers, it has been confirmed. The 6-foot-7, 260-pound Fowler, Mich., product started all 13 games and collected second team All-Southern Conference honors for Furman this past season while helping the Paladins to a 10-3 campaign, SoCon championship, FCS playoff appearance. He was credited with 32 receptions for 287 yards and four touchdowns, including a career high nine grabs for 78 yards and a touchdown in the Paladins' quarterfinal round playoff contest versus Montana.
