Gardner-Webb Wins Two to Take Big South Series Against Presbyterian

BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – The Gardner-Webb University softball team won both games of their Saturday afternoon doubleheader against Presbyterian College taking the first game 7-1, and the second 4-1. The wins allow GWU to take the crucial Big South series over PC. Adrienne Visintine got things started for GWU in the third inning of game one hitting a two-run shot right center for a 2-0 lead.
