Georgetown Defeats Providence 6-2 in Second Game of Series
WASHINGTON - Georgetown softball defeated Providence 6-2 in the second game of the three-game series on Saturday, April 27 in Providence, Rhode Island. The Hoyas are now 13-29 on the season and 4-16 in BIG EAST play while Providence is 19-21-1 and 9-11 in league action. How it Happened In the first inning, Georgetown managed to get bases loaded with only one out, but were halted by a Providence double play.
