Hampden-Sydney Closes Regular Season With An 8-1 Loss To Averett

HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va — Juniors Henry Singleton (Richmond) and Matt Kendrick (Birmingham, AL) took a doubles win together but Hampden-Sydney College took a 8-1 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) loss to Averett University, Saturday afternoon at the H-SC Tennis Courts. Junior Taylor Fox (Virginia Beach) and freshman Thomas Davis (Charlotte, NC) were the first pair to finish in the second doubles match falling 8-2. Singleton and Kendrick were the next to finish in the third doubles match, taking an 8-6 victory.
