Huskies Take Pac-12 Leading Arizona To The Wire, Fall 3-2
SEATTLE – Jared Engman gave Washington a stellar outing on Friday but the Huskies dropped a nailbiter to the Pac-12 leaders in Arizona, 3-2, at Husky Ballpark. Engman received a no decision, going 6.2 innings with two runs allowed on three hits, striking out four. Isaac Yeager took the loss in relief. The Huskies had chances early to jump out front, but left five runners on through the first three innings as Engman and the Wildcats' Jackson Kent took a pitcher's duel scoreless into the seventh.
