Indy 400: Lyness wins collegiate debut at the 400-meter distance

ST. PAUL, Minn. — Indy Lyness’ victory in the 400-meter dash highlighted seven top-10 results for the Carleton College men’s track & field team at the 12-team Janis Rider/Doug Bolstorff Invitational hosted by Macalester College. Lyness, who specializes in the 1500-meter distance, competed in his first collegiate 400-meter race and came away with the victory after completing his lap around the track at Macalester Stadium in 50.85.
