Islanders Secure Series Win with Strong Batting Performance against Privateers
NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Privateers collected 11 hits and looked to rally late but were turned back as they lost 11-6 to the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders on Saturday afternoon at Maestri Field. The Privateers got behind in the second inning after Christian Smith-Johnson brought in the first run with an RBI ground out.
