Knights Drop Game Two to Warriors, 4-0

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – The FDU Knights (15-25, 10-12) took on the Merrimack Warriors (20-22, 13-10) for game two of their three-game conference series which resulted in a 4-0 loss for the Knights. Junior right-handed pitcher Chris Mattioli started the game on the mound for FDU and completed six successful innings. Mattioli struck out six in today’s outing, issuing only one walk. Despite s strong outing for FDU’s starting pitcher, Mattioli, the Knights offense couldn’t find an answer to put them on the board.
