Lady Bobcats slip past Central Heights, 4-3, in Game 1

JASPER — Playoff time is about overcoming inexperience and adversity when the game is on the line. The young Central Heights Lady Blue Devils, who field just two seniors, came out with confidence at the plate and in the circle, leading Orangefield until the sixth frame Friday evening. But the Lady Bobcats were able to push two key runs across the plate to squeeze out a 4-3 Game 1 decision in the best-of-three series at Lady Bulldog Field.
