LATE THURSDAY HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDUP: Bishop’s homer lifts Generals to victory

CLARKSVILLE — Kaitlin Bishop’s three-run homer in the bottom of the seventh inning gave Clarksville a 5-4 walk-off win over Salem in high school softball action Thursday evening. The Lions led 3-0 through four frames before the Generals tallied two runs in the fifth. Salem scored once in the seventh to go up 4-2 before Bishop’s heroics. Bishop was one of four Generals with two hits. Bailey Senior, Tiarra Lewis and Kenzie Alexander also had two apiece. Senior finished with two runs batted in while Lewis touched home twice.
