Men’s Heavyweights Bring Home Adams Cup vs. Navy/Penn
ANNAPOLIS, MD –– No. 3 Harvard men's heavyweight rowing claimed the Adams Cup with a win in the first varsity eight for the 23rd year in a row. Both the second and third varsity eights claimed victories as well. There was a tie between Harvard and Penn for the Clothier Point Trophy (which includes 5 boats). The tie was broken by Harvard's win in the 1V race. There was significant chop in the last 500 meters. Headwind increased throughout racing, but the tide slowed down to slack tide by the last race.
