Men’s rowing second varsity eight outraces MIT heavyweights on Charles River
CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — The Bates men’s rowing second varsity won their race against the MIT heavyweights in a terrific performance Saturday on the Charles River, highlighting a strong morning of competition for the Bobcat rowing teams against the Engineers. “It was a beautiful day on the Charles and the MIT parents put on an outstanding BBQ complete with bagpipes for entertainment,” head coach Peter Steenstra said.
