Mercer Re-Takes Lead In Eighth Inning To Defeat High Point
HIGH POINT, N.C. -- The Mercer Bears (22-18, 4-7 SoCon) fought back from down 3-2 in the seventh inning to knock off the High Point Panthers (23-20, 11-4 Big South) 4-3 on Saturday. Senior Jaxon O'Neal picked up the victory out of the bullpen for Mercer. The left-hander went 2.2 shutout innings while giving up one hit.
