NC State lands BU transfer forward Caitlin Weimar

NC State added a critical piece to its frontcourt on Friday with the commitment of Boston University transfer forward Caitlin Weimar, who won Patriot League Player of the Year honors in 2024. She was also named Defensive Player of the Year for the second season in a row. The 6’4 senior averaged 18.7 points, 10.6 boards, and 2.8 blocks in 2024 and knocked down several game-winners along the way. It was the second straight season in which she averaged a double-double.
