Outdoor Track/Field Squads Take Part In Monarch Open

Wilkes-Barre, Pa. – The Lehman College men’s and women’s outdoor track and field teams took part in the King’s College-Pa. Monarch Open on Sunday as the Lightning finished in the top ten in six events. Nelson Benzan Jr. pace the Lehman men as he took fourth in the Shot Put (11.06m) and finished tenth in the Hammer (29.72m) and Javelin (28.60m). Also at the Javelin event, Charles Howard was fifth (33.60m) while Brian Cruz claimed seventh spot (32.77m). Ismael Barry obtained the ninth position in the 400 Meters with a time of 54.44.
