Polars Baseball Clinches UMAC Playoff Spot After Sweep of Knights

New Ulm, MN – The Polars baseball team defeated Martin Luther by scores of 3-1 and 12-4. A Howie Hatton triple and Bryan Gerbers singled to drive in the first run of the game. An error, double from Hatton, and a sacrifice fly from Ashton Long gave the Polars the 3-0 lead in the third inning. After 5 more scoreless innings the Knights pushed across a run in the 8th inning.
