Skidmore clinches home field despite loss to #12 Ithaca

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Skidmore College women’s tennis team completed the regular season with a home game against nationally 12 th -ranked Ithaca on Saturday. The Thoroughbreds hung around in the first quarter before the Bombers pulled away and posted a 20-7 win. Ithaca, the only unbeaten team in the Liberty League, finishes as the top seed with a 10-0 conference record. The Bombers are 15-1 overall and have earned a first-round bye in the upcoming conference tournament. Skidmore finishes the regular season 9-8 and 6-4 in the league.
