Softball clinches PSAC West title with sweep over Mercyhurst

With a sweep over crosstown rival Mercyhurst on Saturday afternoon, the Gannon softball team has clinched the PSAC West title. Gannon earned a 3-2 victory over the Lakers in game one, before belting out 12 hits including two home runs en route to an 8-2 win in the nightcap. Gannon improved to 28-11 overall and 23-6 in the PSAC West, while Mercyhurst finished its 2024 campaign at 18-27 overall and 14-18 in the PSAC West.
