Softball Comes Up Short Twice at Wilmington

WILMINGTON – A trip to Southwest Ohio led to a pair of close losses for John Carroll Softball. The Blue Streaks played hard and nearly got a win or two, but dropped both Ohio Athletic Conference games at Wilmington College on Saturday, 7-5 and 3-0. Game 1 Kendall Trunzo kicked off the game on a great note, clubbing a double to left center. A couple hitters later, Kaylyn Odelli ripped a double over the center fielder’s head.
