Softball Drops Two in La Crosse

The No. 22 University of Wisconsin-Whitewater softball team dropped a twinbill at UW-La Crosse Saturday afternoon. The Eagles took game one 3-1 and game two 3-2. Kaitlyn Weidemann (Gurnee, Ill./Warren Township) tagged a one-out single through the left side to get the offense going for UWW. She advanced to second on a groundout. Grace Wickman (Wausaukee, Wis./Peshtigo) singled up the middle and Weidemann motored around third – Coach Brenda Volk sending her all the way.
