Softball Falls in Game one to Villanova
STORRS, Conn. – The UConn softball team lost to the Villanova Wildcats, 3-1 on Friday afternoon at Burrill Family Field. Hallie Siems made her 26th start of the season for the Huskies. She went 5.1 innings in the circle giving up three runs on only three hits, with nine strikeouts. The senior was dominant through the first three innings retiring nine of the first ten batters she faced with seven retired via the strikeout.
