Softball Falls Short in Series Opener at Morgan State
BALTIMORE, Md. – Coppin State's softball team dropped its MEAC series opener at crosstown rival Morgan State, 2-0 on Saturday afternoon at Lois Murray Field. The Eagles fell to 19-19 overall and 14-5 in the MEAC while the Bears improved to 29-16 on the year and 17-2 in league play. CSU managed just two hits on the day, coming on doubles from Xzylia Maravilla and Brooklyn Tapusoa .
