St. Paul’s girls finish second in 6A tennis
After two days of back-and-forth competition with three-time defending champion Mountain Brook, the St. Paul’s girls’ team claimed the state runner-up title in the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) state tennis tournament at the Mobile Tennis Center on Friday. Mountain Brook collected 72 total points, winning No. 5 and No. 6 singles as well as No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. St. Paul’s, with 69 points, won No. 1, No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4 singles.
