Thoroughbreds finish weekend sweep, secure first-round bye with 8-1 win over Ithaca

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. – The Skidmore College women’s tennis team won eight out of nine matches on Saturday as it completed a weekend home sweep with a victory over visiting Ithaca College on Saturday afternoon. Skidmore, ranked 38th nationally, clinched the second seed in next week’s Liberty League Championship in Ithaca. The Thoroughbreds will play wither RPI or Ithaca in a semifinal on Saturday, May 4.
