Track and Field Picks Up First-Ever Medals At Penn Relays
PHILADELPHIA --- The last day of the Penn Relays were memorable for several members of the NJIT track and field team. Freshman Jordan Lindinger-Asamoah and the men's 4x400 Relay group of Gabriel Truehart , Lossenie Fofana , David Munera and Jacob Leigh earned NJIT's first-ever top-five members in the event on Saturday evening. Lindinger-Asamoah was the first to medal Saturday after his leap of 14.75m / 48-4.75 in the Triple Jump slotted him fourth overall in the College Championship.
