Track & Field Competes at Paul Kaiser Classic
SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. --- One program record fell and another athlete earned her spot at the 2024 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Outdoor Championships next week, highlighting the Golden Eagle track & field team's day at the Paul Kaiser Classic hosted by Shippensburg. Madison Foringer broke a 12-year-old record in the Hammer Throw on Saturday afternoon, placing sixth in the field with a mark of 43.18m. That edged out the previous record of 43.13m set by Carol Cress in 2012, and represented a half-meter improvement over the 42.71m she threw at the John Papa Invitational last week.
