UKTF Dominates Prelims Amid Stormy Conditions at Drake Relays

DES MOINES, Iowa — The weather was wet, windy, and sometimes even stormy enough to delay the meet but the University of Kentucky track and field program persevered through the delays and distractions picking up seven automatic qualifiers to Saturday’s finals at the Drake Relays. The automatic bids came in the women’s 100-meter hurdles, men’s 110-meter hurdles, both men’s and women’s 100-meter dashes, and men’s and women’s 4×100-meter relays.
