Utah State Track & Field Boasts School Record and Five Titles in Rainy Weekend Meets
PROVO, Utah — Through rainy conditions, Utah State track & field set a school record in the men's pole vault and won five titles at the BYU-hosted Robison Invitational and the Stanford-hosted Payton Jordan Invitational this weekend. By clearing 5.53 meters (18-1.75), sophomore Logan Hammer set the Utah State record in the men's pole vault while taking the title at the Robison Invitational. At the time of publication, Hammer's mark ranks first in the Mountain West and eighth in the nation. Also at the BYU-hosted Robison Invitational, senior Abbey Bryant won the women's 100-meter hurdles with a time of 13.56....
