Women’s Lacrosse secures HCLC Regular Season Title with win over Anderson on Senior Day

LEXINGTON, Ky. – It was a celebratory afternoon for Transylvania Women’s Lacrosse, who faced Anderson University to finish out regular season conference play. As a team, the Pioneers recorded a new season high of 29 clears and won 15 draw controls. With the 21-8 win over Anderson, the Pioneers earned the HCLC regular season title, remaining undefeated in conference play. Before the game, seniors Linley Dawson, Amanda Kanatzar, Grace Smilek, and Sophia Sparks were all recognized and celebrated.
