Women’s Track & Field Takes First at SLU Twilight Invite
By: Caleb Philips, Director of Athletic Communications Meet Results CANTON, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State women’s track and field team finished first at the SLU Twilight Invite, scoring 131. 5 points to defeat St. Lawrence and Potsdam. The Cardinals had multiple top finishes, helping them to the victory in their final meeting before the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Championships. Marissa LeDuc (Saranac, N.Y./Saranac) posted a career-best mark in the 100-meter hurdles at 16.42 to finish first, also finishing first in the long jump with her mark of 5.06 meters.
