#12 Amherst end regular season with 5-4 win over #16 Tufts

Mike Orazzi MEDFORD, MA – On Sunday afternoon, the #12 Amherst College women’s tennis team made it two wins in one weekend by beatingthe #16 Tufts University Jumbos with a score of 5-4 on their home Vouté courts. Playing outdoors in front of a loud away crowd, the Mammoths held their nerve to win the closely-battled top-20 matchup. The Mammoths’ season record improves to 12-5 (7-3 in NESCAC).
