LAS VEGAS – Bishop McCort Catholic freshman Melvin Miller won the 17-Under freestyle title at the U.S. Open Sunday to make history. With Bo Bassett, Keegan Bassett and Miller all advancing, they became the first trio from one family to advance and earn spots on their respective world wrestling teams. Miller was adopted by parents Bill and Karissa Bassett two years ago. Miller swept his best-of-3 championship series over Iowa's Kyler Knaack at 71 kilograms Sunday.
