App State Tennis Falls in Sun Belt Championship Match
ROME, Ga. – After an incredible run through the Sun Belt Tournament, App State Tennis fell 4-2 to 69th-ranked Old Dominion in the championship match on Sunday. The seventh-seeded Mountaineers (15-10) made Sun Belt history as they defeated James Madison, Marshall and Troy to become the lowest-seeded team to make a championship appearance. Before this match no team lower than the No. 3 seed had ever made a championship appearance.
