Baseball Drops Sunday Finale to Dallas Baptist

MIAMI – The FIU baseball team dropped the series finale to Dallas Baptist Patriots, 11-0, from FIU Baseball Stadium Sunday afternoon. Dallas Baptist struck first in the third, racking up three runs. The Patriots poured on seven runs in the fifth before tacking on a run in the eighth to earn the win. Ryan Cabarcas was tagged with the loss (5-4), making his second start of the season, going 2.2 innings of work on the mound, allowing three earned runs with three strikeouts.
